Reporting to the Software Development Manager the Mission for the Software Developer is to spearhead the ongoing development and deployment of the Envisio core program as well as designing and developing a series of modules that integrate with the core program.
FUNCTIONAL TASKS
System/Program Development
- Analyze design and deploy the Envisio application to the cloud.
- Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition requirements, solutions development, and proposed solutions.
- Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure the program can be used easily, quickly and accurately.
React to problems / bugs and take corrective measures required.Evaluate and increase the program's effectiveness.Adapt the program to new requirements, as necessary.
Core Systems Product Support
- Serve as liaison to internal customers, research groups and various business support areas.
- Be an expert in client-side web presentation technologies.
- Interface with manager and other team members to gather requirements and troubleshoot problems.
- Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
Personal
- Maintain technical knowledge by participating in approved educational opportunities, reading professional publications and maintaining personal networks.
